In addition to its highly skilled internal staff, the company augments this team with a flexible group of key advisors and consultants who provide specific expertise when and where required.
Management Team
Bill Aldrich, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Aldrich has held executive and engineering positions at Ampex, BioTrack, CVIS, Cartesian Data, CardioThoracic Systems, Integrated Vascular Systems and, most recently, at EndoVx, which he founded and raised $5M in venture financing. Bill brings 28 years in the medical device and magnetic recording industries to EndoShape and has 40+ issued U.S. patents and has over 40 pending applications. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University.
Jeff Castleberry, Chief Operating Officer
Mr Castleberry has over 25 years of leading product development and manufacturing organizations to commercialize complex medical devices: durable equipment, sterile disposables, and implantable products. He has broad medical market segment exposure and has served in large multi-national and emerging stage companies including CardioOptics, Plexus, Battelle Memorial Institute, Larren, Davis+Geck, Vitalmetrics, CR Bard and AHSC.
Robin Shandas, Ph.D., CTO, Director
Dr. Shandas is a Director and serves as EndoShape’s CTO. He is a Professor of Pediatrics, Mechanical Engineering & Surgery, and Head of the Bioengineering Department at the University of Colorado-Denver. He has extensive expertise in cardiovascular devices, biomedical engineering, and imaging, and has helped found three new bio-technology ventures prior to EndoShape’s formation. He has authored over 200 scientific publications, has or has applied for over 10 patents, and is principal investigator on numerous grants from NIH, NSF, AHA, etc.
Harold Tyber, Corporate Secretary
Mr. Tyber has extensive management, business development and marketing expertise. Prior to joining EndoShape, he served as Chairman and President of MedShape Solutions, Inc. a start-up company applying shape memory polymer technology in orthopedics. Mr. Tyber was an executive with ARCO where he served as president of ARCO’s Australian coal and international power divisions and served on several company and joint venture boards.
